The vision and mission of our school Canossa is beautifully expressed in the motto, “Education for Life.” Our Foundress, St. Magdalene of Canossa, envisioned an education that goes beyond academic achievement—an education that prepares students for life itself. Her dream was to form individuals who would build strong families and contribute meaningfully to society and the nation. St. Magdalene believed that education is not merely the imparting of knowledge but above all the formation of the heart. This vision continues to be the guiding light of Canossian education.

At our school, we are committed to educating both the mind and the heart. Character formation is woven into the fabric of our daily school life. Through value-based assemblies, quiet moments of reflection, community outreach programmes, social service initiatives, and environmental awareness activities, our students are encouraged to develop empathy, integrity, and a genuine concern for others.

Co-curricular activities, sports, the performing arts, and leadership opportunities further enrich this holistic development by fostering teamwork, discipline, resilience, respect, and self-confidence. Above all, our teachers serve not only as educators but also as mentors and role models, guiding students with care and dedication. In a nurturing and inclusive environment, every child is valued, supported, and inspired to grow into a person of character, competence, and compassion.

Let us listen with open hearts to the voices of the young who seek guidance, the elderly who long for care and respect and Mother Earth who calls for protection and healing. As a community let us respond with compassion, fairness and a deep sense of responsibility. May we nurture a culture where empathy shapes our actions, justice guides our decisions and care for one another and for our common home becomes our shared mission. Together, let us build a future rooted in love, dignity, and hope for all.

I sincerely thank our dear students, parents, and staff for your collaboration and unwavering support which have greatly contributed to the smooth functioning of our school. May the spirit of St. Magdalene of Canossa continue to inspire and guide our school community as we walk the path of “Education for Life,” may we nurture minds with wisdom and shape hearts with boundless love, forming young individuals who radiate faith, compassion and selfless charity in all they do.

May God bless us all.
